Good effort, now expand it!

I know quite a bit of Actionscript myself, but I think making the computer AI just the right level, as you have here, would take me some time, so, if I were to make this same Pong game, it would've taken a reasonable effort.
Assuming it took you a reasonable effort as well, I've voted in your favour, as there's really nothing wrong with the game.

Now that you've succeeded in scripting the game adequately, you should expand it with sounds, two-player mode [this should be like five minutes work at this stage], animations [think of small animations when someone scores, or subtle bending of the 'paddles' when the ball hits, etcetera], levels and some nice art.
You know, some things to make it special and to make it stand out against the hundred of other Pong games on the Internet / Newgrounds :)

Good luck!

Looks nice, hard gameplay

As my summary says, I like the art in this game [even though the scenery seems to be repetitive, as level 1 and 2 seem exactly the same, except for different looking pillars and a different background] and the sounds sound like they should.

My biggest gripe is the gameplay. It seems so logical, just move your mouse around and click to make the squirrel jump, but in practice it's pretty annoying.
The problem I had was getting him to stop in time, as you aren't paying attention to where your mouse is all the time, so if you need him to stop and your mouse is over near the side somewhere, you have to lightning-speed it back over to the squirrel, or else he'll just keep walking. I also fell down a lot, but that's probably my own fault ;)

So overall, a nice, simple game, but the controls should be changed to keyboard, unless you chose for the mouse on purpose, to increase the difficulty of the game.

This game keeps you entertained

I really like the style you used on the game; the different types of levels and weapons used keep the game very fun to play, and some levels require precise timing, making the game not 'just another easy game'.

The cut scenes were pretty nice as well, except I was more interested in playing the levels than watching them, so I skipped some of them (sorry).
The animation and overall art in the game, even though it's stick characters, was attractive!

Innovative

Very nice idea for a game you have here, now just to expand it soms more.

I can only imagine how much work went into this, programming-wise, and it also looks nice, so hurray for you!

The best Flash game I've played in a long while

Thank you very much for sharing this game with us!

It felt like I was playing a professional console/PC game, as everything was right; the art was simple yet brilliant, the animations and sounds were subtle yet well-fitting and last but not least, the game is HIGHLY addictive, in a good way.

The phrases the bears (both good and bad bears) used were sometimes hilarious and had me actually laughing - that doesn't happen often with me and Flash movies/games.

The game was also scripted very well and was genuinely hard. It took me about half an hour to beat, in about three tries, and when I finally finished it (without hints), I was sorry it was over.

Keep making "Warbears", maybe if you make enough levels, one day you could actually have it released to console!

Damn, I really love this game!

This is the most fun and awe I've had with a game for a long time on Newgrounds, and I don't understand why it has such a poor rating, compared with other Flashes here...
The graphics and animation rock, and it's very enjoyable, but it's better after you download it, yeah...

Pretty alright game :)

Something kind of like what I'm planning to make. It looks really cool, but it is kind of hard to steer the character. I couldn't make it into the 4th room [played for 5 minutes] Keep up the good work anyways!

Hey, you must be one hell of a programmer, I never knew that Flash could record your movements, that's cool. How long can it remember, or is there no limit to it's memory? Hmmm.... Newgrounds could use some more smart guys like you :D

Hey, this is a great game!

The programming must have taken you forever on this, I mean omg! That replay thing is awesome, I've never seen anything like it before. The gameplay was also pretty smooth, but if you used the "z" button, then it was kind of easy. If you keep on making games like this, you could be the next Tom Fulp programming zombie with ActionScript!!
